Hey there! I'm Alex, the blogger behind "this n bliss!"
I am really excited to be getting started as an up and coming blogger (haha). With the craziness of life, I find it nice to have a place to share about the things most important to me including my faith, family and friends. You'll also see a bit about the things I do for fun including DIY projects and the random adventures I often find myself doing.
Living away from home now I'm not able to see these lovely people nearly enough, but I usually phone home at least once a day. Luckily, my BFF and sister, Brooke just happens to be my roommate this year so we have been able to spend a lot of quality time together before we're off to the real world.

God blessed me with a built-in best friend for life when he created my sister Brooke. Everything I experience in life is just so much sweeter with her by my side. Only being two years apart and current roomies makes for sleepovers every night and a closet double the size ;-).
I am also in love with the sweetest man, Mitchell. We go all the way back to MSN chat in 8th grade (yeah, I know). The Lord has taken us on a crazy journey together as we chose different colleges after high school. With graduation right around the corner, life is about to get really crazy and there's no one I'd rather have by my side. I am thankful for a man that pursues me, prays for me and loves me better than I could ever imagine. I don't know how he does it sometimes, but I'm sure glad he does!
